There have been many developments lately in potential Alzheimer’s treatments. So to mark Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, USC conducted a Facebook Live panel discussion with Michael Rafii, MD, PhD, associate professor of clinical neurology and medical director of the Alzheimer’s Therapeutic Research Institute at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.
For the June 23 event, Dr. Rafii was joined by Karen D. Lincoln, PhD, associate professor in the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work and director of the USC Hartford Center of Excellence in Geriatric Social Work; and Andrei Irimia, PhD, assistant professor of gerontology, biomedical engineering and neuroscience at the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology.
