# Understanding Kisunla (Donanemab) and AD Treatment Options

Interviewed by Nancy Lynn from Bright Focus and joined by Dr. Sharyn Rossi, Dr. Paul Aisen explains how therapies target amyloid plaques in the brain to slow the disease's progression. With two disease-modifying drugs now available, Kisunla and Lecanemab (LEQEMBI), clinicians and families have more options, though each drug has unique benefits and considerations. Dr. Aisen also shares optimism about future advancements in Alzheimer's treatment, highlighting the need for further progress in halting and preventing the disease.
