Dr. Paul Aisen on “In the Bubble” Podcast With Andy Slavitt

More than 6 million Americans live with Alzheimer's Disease, meaning it touches almost all of our lives. That number could double by 2050 unless a cure is found. How far away are we?

Founding Director of ATRI Dr. Paul Aisen dropped by the “In The Bubble” podcast to speak with White House advisor and crisis response leader Andy Slavitt about the genetic factors that contribute to AD. In the March 8th episode titled "Are We on the Verge of Curing Alzheimer’s?", the two discuss promising blood tests that can detect the disease long before symptoms begin, and a treatment that could be approved by the FDA later this year.
