ATRI at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference (AAIC23)

ATRI is proud to be a part of the Alzheimer's Association International Conference, the world's largest forum for the dementia research community. Join distinguished basic scientists, clinical researchers, early career investigators, clinicians, and the care research community at the most influential international conference on dementia science.

On Sunday, July 16th ATRI's Dr. Paul Aisen will be a part of the developing topics presentations on Amyloid-PET, tau-PET, and their association in sporadic early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease: Cross-sectional and longitudinal data from the LEADS study. Dr. Michael Donohue will also present “Natural cubic splines for the analysis of Alzheimer's trials” on Sunday. 

On Monday, July 17 Aisen will provide an “Introduction to Preclinical Alzheimer’s Disease and A4 Study Design and the “Anti-Amyloid Treatment in Asymptomatic Alzheimer’s Disease (A4) and Longitudinal Evaluation of Amyloid Risk and Neurodegeneration (LEARN) Study Longitudinal Results”.

Aisen, faculty members Dr. Rema Raman, Dr. Michael Rafii, and Donohue,  and fellow co-authors will discuss “Neuroimaging Results and A4 in the Context of the LEARN Study”.

Dr. Doris Molina Henry will be presenting “Racial and Ethnic Differences in Plasma Biomarker Eligibility in a Preclinical Alzheimer’s Disease Trial” as part of a Developing Topics series.  Co-authors of this work include ATRI’s Drs. Raman and Aisen,  and staff members Oliver Langford, MSc, Andy Liu, MS, and Leona Shum, MPH.

Aisen’s Tuesday, July 18th presentation will be “Looking Ahead to Other Monoclonal Antibodies.”

On Wednesday, July 19th, Aisen will have two presentations: “Longitudinal Early-Onset Alzheimer’s Disease Study (LEADS) Cohort” and “How BACE inhibitors will be studied in clinical trials.” 

On Wednesday, July 20th, Rafii will be presenting “ALZ-NET: A Real-World Data Platform to Inform Future of Alzheimer’s Research, Treatment and Care”.
