ATRI is excited to announce that Doris P. Molina-Henry, PhD will be presenting at the Human Amyloid Imaging (HAI) 2025 Conference! This prestigious event, taking place January 15-17, 2025, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, brings together leading researchers in the field of human amyloid imaging.

Molina-Henry's presentation, titled "Racial and ethnicity differences in plasma biomarker eligibility prior to amyloid PET imaging in the AHEAD 3-45 Study," will be held on Friday, January 17th. Her research focuses on inclusion of understudied groups in Alzheimer’s clinical trials including members of disadvantaged socioeconomic background and diverse racial and ethnic populations. This presentation will delve into her findings regarding racial and ethnic differences in plasma biomarker eligibility for amyloid PET imaging within the AHEAD 3-45 Study.

As Molina-Henry notes, "Plasma marker data has unlocked extraordinary opportunities to deepen our understanding and characterization of Alzheimer’s disease across diverse populations. Continually evaluating the relationship of these novel plasma markers to established imaging metrics is critical, especially among understudied groups.

The HAI 2025 Conference offers a unique platform for investigators, like Molina-Henry, to share valuable insights with colleagues dedicated to advancing the field of human amyloid imaging. This technology plays a crucial role in diagnosing Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, allowing for earlier intervention and improved patient care.

HAI 2025 features:

  • Cutting-edge Science: Immerse yourself in the latest research on human amyloid imaging and its applications in diagnosing neurodegenerative diseases.
  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with leading researchers, clinicians, and industry experts from around the world.
  • Diversity of Topics: Explore a wide range of topics related to amyloid imaging, from biomarker development to clinical trial design.
